Purchased 30 of these knives with the intent to finish them into a solid knife theta has balance. The tang is two pieces that are spot welded together to make it look like a full tang. The handle is not wide enough to support the blade. The nylon sheath gets ripped apart at the top where the serrated edge of the knife comes out. The sheath is nylon over card board which will be shot after the first rain in the field. I corrected this on the knives by putting two quarter inch blanks on the inside of the handle. Re- welded the two piece tang. Drilled out the handle and installed larger cap screws. Run the whole thing over a fixed belt sander and then buff till new. The sheath problem was cured by riveting the top of the sheath with no les than eight rivets so the knife will not catch the top of the sheath on the way out. Also made some sheaths out of leather and rivets. The knife and the sheathes look awesome now. Started to but another 30 knives and found the price hiked $4.00 per knife on a ten lot purchase. I have bought many different knives from Unlimited Wares so I can finish the blades and the sheaths. Only the price stopped me from buying more of each at the 10 lot price. Get something going and everybody gets greedy. Seems to be the American way.

I bought these knives for the purpose of resale. I will widen the handles and make staked leather sheaths for them. The knives appeal is that it is big. God knows that big appeals to a great many men. I carry buck 307 stockman and a Swiss army tinker in the same sheath myself.
