This airsoft pistol is very close to a real M1911 in its shape. However, it is smaller than a real one. Other than that, it is a solid pistol (especially for the price it is being sold for here). The slide was extremely difficult to pull back at first, mostly because of how strong the spring is.
Great pistol for a beginner!

This is a wonderful start to anyone who would like to start out practice shooting in the back yard! It is a fine piece of plastic, and I recommend it to everyone! The downsides are it doesn't shoot far but does hit hard, the safety doesn't work, and it's 2/3 in scale (measured with a Licensed Colt M1911A1 spring airsoft pistol, which is what this gun is based on (I would like this website to start selling these.))
However, it doesn't jam or the bb doesn't get stuck, so there's no worry about that. Most cheap airsoft guns don't have working safeties, and the scale model problem is okay because the last time I purchased a cheap scale model airsoft gun (ukarms Beretta M92) it jammed a lot. Overall this is a good one to buy. Or buy 20 as I did for 40 bucks and get 20 magazines and 20 working parts.
